I never thought I could do something so drastic to change my life. I'm two weeks out from surgery and amazed.. Why did I not do this sooner. The thought of Mexico is scary to most, but I have to say at no time did I feel any kind of treat. The hospital is a gated facility and so, so clean. Your probably thinking but I don't speak Spanish...no problem, every shift had at least one nurse that is fluent in English, but they all speak some English. As far as Dr Almanza goes, and Dr Lopez.. there are no word for how great these two men are. Dr "A" is a angel on earth, saving people everyday.

Now about me personally since surgery. Wow I never had any pain, I never got sick or felt sick after surgery. My Surgery was on a Monday and Wednesday I went out to the market and walked around for about 3 hours taking short breaks along the way but walk, walk, walk. I had not been able to walk cause of a bad knee for more then about 10 to 15 minutes at a time, using a cane. Haven't used my cane once since surgery. Shopping I use to have to get a cart to ride in just to go grocery shopping. Today I can walk through Wal-Mart and feel no pain.

This surgery is about getting healthy and if you have underline problems you might be surprised as to how Gastric surgery will help improve them also. I use to get up every night 3 or 4 times. I now can sleep all night. I use to go home right after work and just want to sit and do nothing, now I fix my family's dinner and then play with me kids outside. All in just two weeks.

If you are undecided about doing this, ask questions, join Dr Almanza Facebook page. I can not believe how easy this surgery is and how much it has already changed my life.

Weight the day I called and scheduled surgery 326 lbs
Weight the day I checked in to the hospital 307 lbs
Weight Sunday 3/1/20 288

So I've lost 38 lbs total and 19 just since surgery....
