After much research and family supports I travelled from Northern Alberta to the clinic Dec. 18, 2012 for surgery. Everything went exactly as planned and I felt comfortable with my new small stomach and that I had lots of information to heal properly and how to eat and what steps to take along the journey to better health. I had no problem participating in Christmas events and meals with my new routine and by Jan. 21, 2013 had lost 28 lbs. I have continued to lose pounds and inches and today weigh 52 lbs less! I travel with my work and eating well is no problem although getting enough exercise is still a challenge. I don't feel deprived or on a diet which is the most wonderful feeling!
