I decided to make a change in my life, to extend my life and the quality in which I was living. I have 3 wonderful children and 1 terrific grandson along with my husband and I wanted to be able to do more with them all for longer. It was a scary decision to travel to Mexico to have surgery but decided that it was what I needed to do as my insurance would not cover it at all here in the states. I used what was left in my savings to take this journey and feel that ultimately it will be the best use of that money ever! I am just 5 weeks out from surgery but feeling good about my decision. I have not lost a tremendous amount of weight yet but enough to see a difference already. I hope to keep losing on the slow track so my body/skin have time to catch up.

As for my experience in Mexico through Weight Loss Agents, it was a good one. It is a well oiled machine. They pick you up at the airport, take you to the hospital for tests, surgery, then on to the motel. Once at the motel you have a team of nurses that tend to you that are very nice and professional. The doctor then also comes around each day to check on you to make sure you are doing well. Everyone is very nice and helpful and always have a smile on their faces.

There are challenges with this surgery that we all have to learn as we go but as far as my experience I cannot complain. I went to Mexico alone, this was something that I needed to face alone and I did just that. I never felt unsafe but quiet the opposite!
