My reason for having the gastric sleeve was more for health reasons I guess I was blind to the fact that I was really fat LOL!
And my family heart attacks and strokes diabetes runs like crazy I made the decision to have the gastric sleeve when I went to the doctor and the doctor told me that I had high blood pressure was on several medicines my cholesterol was out of this world and he said the next thing that I will definitely be getting is diabetes that scared me into having the surgery I started out at 198 and today I am down to 116 my surgery hasn't even been a year there are no words to tell you how great I feel my cholesterol is down Completely normal I'm off all her blood pressure medicine and I'm not even close to being a diabetic I challenge anyone who is wanting to make a life change decision and making them self healthy and feeling great about themselves to go through with this surgery! I also believe in the hospital the doctor and the staff not one time was I in fear, I can Tell you this I felt completely comfortable the staff was completely amazing the doctor had amazing bedside manners and you don't get that here in the states, The place was clean, and very professional! I already had felt comfortable because there is at least 13 people at my church that have gone to the same doctor same hospital and had great results best decision I ever made it's like you get your life back! The only thing I would do differently is I would have had the surgery sooner and start being so scared to go through with it I'm telling you it's the best decision I ever made!
