I don't even know where to begin. I was in bad health and almost 75 pounds overweight with hypertension, high cholesterol and borderline diabetes. I tried every diet under the sun without much success; I soon regained the weight I lost and then some. I made the decision to have the gastric surgery and my life has changed forever. I was 226 pre-op: I am now a trim, tone 124! I learned to eat right, started to exercise, and took a look at my health. All my health problems have dissolved, and I encourage anyone to begin this weight loss journey. I was not a believer, but now I am! I recently took my sister (pre-op weight is 389) to Mexico to Hospital Jerusalem and their wonderful staff. I hope her life is changed as much as mine.
I am a Registered Nurse and my patients have noticed the weight loss, and I have encouraged them to love themselves and embark on this positive health seeking behavior!
I can't imagine where I would be without this life changing opportunity. Life is all about choices, and I feel I have made a good choice.
