I started my preop diet 10/24/15 weighing 281. I had my surgery on 10/29/15. Everything went pretty well. It was easy to book my surgery appointment and make payment, any questions I had was answered by their 24/7 service agents. I like the fact that I could text them too. When we arrived at the airport , their driver picked us up and took us straight to the hospital for blood work. I had my weigh in and right before surgery I was at 269. We met with the doctor, he explained everything to me of what exactly he was going to do and how long it would take. About an hour later I had my surgery and was up and walking that same night. I was not in much pain at all. Their staff is very attentive to your every need. The hospital is very clean. I felt very comfortable. I spent the night there and the next morning we were transfered to the hotel, where we stayed for our remainder of our stay. The doctor has his nurse staff stationed there. They would come and change my IV fluids and give me pain meds when needed and also change my dressing on my incisiones and empty my drain. My husband and I had our own room. I did a lot of walking ,even went out on Halloween night with 2 other couples and had a good time. Today is 11/10/2015 and I am happy to say that I am down to 252. I have lost a total of 29 pounds and I feel pretty great and the best part is that I am not even hungry. I do watch closely what I take in and make sure it has nutritional value and I also take my vitaimins.
