Immediately after the surgery, it hurt like hell and I just knew I had made one of the biggest mistakes of my life. For several weeks, even rabbits ate better than me as I ate a lot of jello and soft foods like mashed potatoes. Ten months later the weight is off, but I could do better if I stopped eating the fried foods. Now no matter what I eat, I can only eat so much. In no way do I regret my decision, I was on a path of high blood pressure and all the other sicknesses of being over weight. Now, I look good and I am not ashamed when I look in a mirror. I think the key to keeping the weight off is to remember what my doctor told me, "God made one taco". This means you don't have to eat six tacos in one setting (I use to do that). Today I make one egg, one piece of toast, one piece of chicken, etc. It is all good. BTW, the facility was great and clean. I am glad I went through a few weeks of pain for a life time of joy.
