I searched the internet and other places carefully before choosing Dr. Almanzo. I didn't even tell my sisters I was going to have this surgery, I was afraid of thier negativity, towards the surgery. Since the date of my surgery, I've lost 40 pounds.
I feel fabulous. I've notice my whole relationship with foods have changed. I no longer crave sweets, I can't eat cake, rarely eat red meats. I noticed mostly, I am content to just sit and watch TV, but mostly, I'm up and about cleaning. My house has never been so clean.
As most people, I have a very stressful job, when I first started working, it was nothing to eat two or three sandwiches through the night shift, a couple of bags of chi8ps and a cookie or two, Now, I always take a bag of vegetables, which I crave now, and just dip them in hummus and celery with cream cheese, and my sweet is a half a banana with Nutella on it.
I had no pain with this surgery, was very weak the first six weeks, and had regrets, but after the six weeks and I'm now three months in, my husband and I are very happy I had this surgery.
