I was a little scared at first, my friends thought I was crazy for going to mexico alone they said stuff like what if they butcher you? I thought I would rather be dead then continue living in this fat body. Well it was nothing like everyone thought. From the time I arrived at the airport in San Diego till the time I was dropped back off they made sure I was safe. The clinic was very clean and all the people there were very friendly. The nurses didn't speak English but some how we communicated. It has been 3 weeks now since my surgery and I am doing good. I have lost 20 pounds so far. I believe the hardest part of getting the surgery done is giving up my addiction to food. I had the gastric sleeve surgery and I have no regrets. I don't really get hungry ever, which is cool. The first day after surgery I thought to my self what have I done, I was a little uncomfortable but not really in pain. I just missed eating food. I would tell any one that was planning on getting the surgery to go for it....
