I had my surgery June 3 2013. I had Dr. Almanza. I was kind of nervous but several of us had surgery the same day. The clinic is small but clean and very efficiently run. I am back home now and while I am still having a few pains because I am getting use to having liquids again it is hard to find the right amount to drink and over a period of time. I remember the surgery up until the gas mask went on then lights out until I woke up in the recovery room. Sooner than I expected I was on my feet going to a room for the night. A day later being back in the hotel Ticaun a very well appointed five star hotel by my standards. So far besides the knowing when to quit "eating", the only thing I have noted is the tiredness because I am not putting as much protien etc. into my mouth. I lost 10 pounds between the time I started my diet for surgery and the time I got home, and the future remains to be written. I am happy I did this but realize also that this a permanent lifelong change. Abbey
