I have been overweight the majority of my life. I have tried every diet and exercise program known to man but nothing worked. I saw the advertisement about going to Mexico to get the Gastric Sleeve surgery and at a great price. I did due diligent research and then was blessed by a friend to fund my entire trip and surgery. On my original trip down there I went with two supportive friends. The hospitality was wonderful, I felt like I was among friends. When Dr. Almanza came and sat down with all of us to explain the surgery and what to expect I was really impressed. He had an interpreter there to make sure the communication was clear. After my surgery I was informed that they elected not to complete it because my liver was too enlarged. Dr.Juan Btancourt the Vice President was at my bedside when I woke up and he explained what had happened and set my new surgery date. I came back and got the surgery and my entire life has changed in less than one month! I am NEVER hungry, I can walk further than I have in years with little or no lower back pain, I no longer sleep on stacks of pillows and every single day I feel stronger and healthier.The staff was so warm that I feel like we are old friends. The experience at Hotel Ticuan was just amazing. It was a four star hotel with fantastic service. For those of us who were patients all we had to do is dial 109 and a nurse would care for our needs. Both the hospital and the hotel were immaculate. There was certainly NO false advertisement. I met people from around the world that were there for the same surgery. YES I would recommend it to anyone that has come to the realization that diets don't work and its time to take control of your life.
