For anyone apprehensive about surgery in Mexico, do not fear!! What a great experience I had!! Everything was as promised. From pickup at the airport to surgery to getting back to the airport to go home. Things are a bit different than they are in the states but that is attributed to the differences in countries and practices. Be prepared to not be able to eat much and to be a bit nauseous for a while but that is the surgery itself, it has nothing to do with having surgery in Mexico. I have lost 20 pounds in a month and slow and steady is fine with me on the weight loss. I have more energy now, my joints no longer hurt, no more aches and pains. The surgery was worth it and I would definitely refer any family and friends to Dr. Almanza!!
