My reason for having the gastric sleeve probably will be different from yours but that's okay. I have a hernia that is growing out of control but my doctor won't do surgery to repair it without me losing weight first. I have tried losing weight on my own for three years without much success.

The gastric sleeve procedure was my final option to allow me the help I so desperately need. Dr. Almanza was a competent doctor and I am grateful I had the surgery done. I finally am losing weight and I am hopeful in a few months to be where I need to be weight wise to be able to have my hernia repaired.
