I am a Registered Nurse and I did it! GO FOR IT!
Dr. Almanza, his team, the Hotel and their staff are all beyond awesome! My husband is 3 yrs post op and I am a little over a year. Together we have lost about 220 lbs. My original weight was 212 then I went on the pre-op diet and at the hospital check in I weighed 204.
In the beginning I expected that I would get down to at least 145 lbs. I never dreamed my weight would range from 122 to 127 lbs ( I have to weigh daily to keep it at 127 because when I work I forget to eat and will lose at least 8oz a night).
Tonight I am back on the site because I am now ready to fine tune this frame with some cosmetic surgery and we are not talking liposuction... I don't have enough fat to worry about that and I LOVE IT!!! By the time I am done this old gal is going to rock!
