Getting healthier for my grandchildren *

This is something I've wanted to do for a long time. My health was only going to get worse if I didn't do something soon. I lost my only child, my daughter, in late 2010 in a head on collision. The injuries I suffered couldn't compete with the sorrow ..it took over 3 months to get home. She left behind 4 children all under the age of 7. I wanted to be able to take them places and go and do things with them but my body wasn't up to it and with the weight gain from just sitting around...it was impossible to do anything. Since the surgery on 3/25 I am down 40 lbs. and I feel some better, I'm sleeping better and hopefully within the next few months we will be spending weekends going to the zoo and museums and whatever else we can get into. I know eating will get better...only 2 or 3 bites of soft food a day and I'm kind of weak, but it will all get better soon and I will be a healthier me for my babies who are now 11, 10,9 and almost 8!
