I was scared as hell about having the surgery done. My wife and I had it done on the same day. She was called in first and I laid in my bed with tears running down my face as I worried about her. Shortly after, they called me in. I felt like I hadn't been asleep for 10 seconds and they are waking me up to go back to my room. With in an hour my wife and I were both up walking around. The only pain I felt was from the gas they blew my stomach up with, not from the tiny incisions or anything. Day 2 the gas pain was gone and we were both back in our street clothes. Today, 9/3/2019 I am down 63.2lbs. I have been taken off of my high blood pressure medication and I feel great. Before the surgery I could not walk 40' before my lower back would tighten up and I would be looking for a chair or something to lean against. Now I can walk as far as I want, completely pain free. Ya it sucks knowing I will never be able to finish a cheese burger again and having to shell out money to buy smaller clothes :). Definitely worth it! If I had it to do all over again I'd do it in a heart beat. BTW, I was 342.8 when I had the surgery and I am 279.6 today and dropping.
