I had thought about doing this for many years and couldn't get the insurance to pay for the procedure. So I started looking for affordable options. I read the reviews for weight loss agents for months and talked to my husband and made the choice to do the surgery. At first I was very nerous about going to Mexico by myself to have this surgery done. The trip to the hotel wasn't bad and I was checked into the hotel very quickly. I choose to pay extra to have a room to myself. The surgery wasn't too bad and I was up and walking within 30 min of surgery. I didn't have a bad recovery. It is now about 4 months after surgery and I still sometimes struggle with portion size. I do miss the food but I am happy that I did the surgery. I would recommend doing the surgery. I am happy that I am finally losing the weight.
