I wasnt scared until my name got called to go into surgery. All of the sudden, I was awake, in my room with my friend and other than being a little groggy, I was fine. Later that evening the gas pains hit. The sweetest nurses I have ever had made sure we were all ok! Nurse Oscar was so kind and personable that he made it seem like nothing waa going on. The next day at the Hotel, again.....Great nurses! They never seemed to be bothered by us or our 50 questions. I never even really had pain from the surgery. Just that gas and indigestion. If I were to complain about anything at all, it would be that the van drivers did not seem to care how fast they drove over big bumps or holes. That was miserable. All & all I'm doing great. Just learning to tell my brain that I'm not really craving a pizza or a burger. Lol. I know it is the best thing I could have done for myself and my future health.
