I have to admit that I was very skeptical about having surgery in Tijuana. I was worried about infection, complications, and where I was going to keep my passport and ID:)

Well, I have to say that the entire treatment was excellent from the ride from the airport to the the very last day. Everything was well explained and made me feel secured. The staff was outstanding. The nurses, administrators, and of course the doctors. I'm 10 days post surgery and I feel great. The first three days pod surgery were tough because I had a lot nausea and I don't like that feeling but ever since the nausea was gone my recovery has been smooth. Of course, I'm following all the instructions and taking care of myself. I finished the antibiotics as prescribed and stopped taking pain meds on the 4th day.

I have to include that I've worked in the medical field and in hospitals for most of my adult life. The clinic is not fancy but is very clean. The nurses drawing blood and starting IVs did a great job. No mistakes were made. They attended to every question and request without any buts. I have no words to thank the staff for their service as I was there all alone and they made me feel at home and cared for.

Finally, I have to say Dr. Almanza was right when he said his hands were good because besides a lot gas I don't feel any discomfort or pain. Again, I'm only 10 days post-op and have lost 19lbs and have not had any complications. I'm sure I will reach my goal weight in no time!! I will upload pics after 3
Months when the results are more noticeable.
