I am on day 15 post-op and feel great! I have already lost 29 pounds from my pre-op weight, and it hasn't been hard. I can tell that food/eating will never be the same but it was time to say goodbye to a "friend" that was killing me. I have had no pain, only mild discomfort on the day of surgery, but this was due to my stomach being so empty -- it was extreme hunger pangs, but others that had surgery that same day did not get these hunger pangs. So far, so good, and I do not expect anything but health improvements from this day forward!
