First I was very skeptical due to all my families negativity about this surgery especially in Mexico. But it is my life and my body and I was ready for this change. Why pay double or triple for same surgery? Now about my journey... Pickup from airport was smooth. Didn't wait long after I checked in to let them know I had landed. Got to hotel it is very neat and clean. No bugs, wasn't run down. Only issue was only one English channel, but didn't really bother me. The nurses at hotel were amazing. Give you as much Jello, juice, water, ice pops you want. After surgery care at hotel was great too. Surgery day and hospital stay was excellent. Again the nurse and staff was very nice and attentive. Hospital very clean. I am a RN and trust me I had my eyes wide open observing every detail. They were awesome. With that said yes I would do it again in a heartbeat. I only wish people in states were not so close minded about surgery in Mexico. I honestly got great care.
