I appreciate all of the nurses, doctors and staff that took care of me during my stay in Mexico. I felt safe and confident in the care I received. I am a nurse in the recovery room at the hospital where I work.
I did not feel great after the surgery. I was jealous of the others who were out shopping and getting around well afterwards. I have followed the instructions to the letter. I feel fatigued and I'm still uncomfortable in my belly. Lots of gas. I am starting on my third week of post operative foods. I am thankful for the soups. I know that this will all be worth the hard work and discomfort in the long run. I have lost 14 pounds since my surgery day. That feels great.
