I went to Green and Health with Dr. Mario due to the price. It was within my budget. I have found from Day 1 of signing on the communication to be remarkable. I originally was going to get my surgery in the US but I could not deal with the lack of communication, the waiting for this referral and that referral. It was crazy. I would have to email my advocate and wait about 3 days for a response. This was not the case here. Even when I phoned and hung up because it was after hours, they called me the next day and asked if every thing was ok. What other doctor calls back missed calls? none.

I found the hospital to be extremely clean and sanitary. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that a US hospital would have, but then again are you paying for bells and whistles or treatment? The hotel was wonderful too. I felt like it was a much needed vacation even though I could not enjoy the cuisine of the area. The beds were comfortable, the rooms clean, then staff hospitable and the nursing staff was above and beyond what I expected. They exceeded expectations!

I do suggest if you are considering this surgery to bring a companion with you. I know it is $70 per night for the room for that but it is well worth it.

I highly recommend Dr. Mario Almanza and his wonderful staff.
