I am six months out. I am down 70 plus pounds and many inches. I began at 290# pre op. My body is so different now. My husband can put his arms all the way around me....nsv... I love to shop in regular stores. Food is no longer something I use to emotionally fill me up. It is still work. I have to remember to maintain my protein, vitamin intake, and water. But even without surgery that is important. I still have acid reflux. My hair has thinned a bit. From what I read before the surgery this is normal. Dr Almanza and his team did a great job. I am a nurse so I was super paranoid. The facility is cleaner than some US hospitals. In Mexico, there is a strong sense of pride. There was always someone cleaning something. I would say if you are tired of being over weight do something about it. Obesity is a sure fire way to only compile health issues.
