I was sleeved May 2017. I'm 41 years old. I am married with 3 kids. I'm 5'3" tall. Starting weight 213 pounds when I started the Preop diet. I was 200 the day of surgery. Today January 12th 2019, I weigh 122 pounds. I am very happy with my results. After a year I had lost 97 pounds. In May of 2018, one year out from surgery, I started an app called couch to 5k or c25k. I am proud to say my weight loss helped me become a runner. I was a big couch slug before surgery. I have run 9 races including 8 5k's and 1 10k. I will be running my first half marathon January 26th. It's insane to think this girl would be paying to run. Lol I love my new body and more so love what my new body is capable of doing. I have no regrets and feel this surgery was the best thing I have ever done for my health and future. Running is my new healthy habit. It gives you rewards for all your hard effort. This surgery changed my life. I wish you all the best in making your decision. Everyone deserves to love the skin your in.
