My only regret in having the Gastric Sleeve is that I didn't do it earlier. It has honestly changed my life. I had my surgery 9 months ago and have lost 90 lbs. I have gone from a size 22 to a 12. I had seen surgeons for knee replacement was having issues with elevated blood sugars and high blood pressure. Now I can go up and down stairs with no pain, I haven't taken a medication for my blood sugar since I had the surgery and I am on a significantly lower dose of blood pressure medications. As a mom I think we tend to put everyone else in front of ourselves. I finally realized that if I didn't have the surgery I might not be around to take care of everyone else. I am a nurse and I can tell you that I was extremely pleased with the entire experience with Dr. Almanza and his team. Now I am looking into a tummy tuck and have no reservations about returning to Mexico and having it performed with this phenomenal team.
