I made the decision to have surgery with Dr. Almanza after talking to a friend of a friend who had the surgery with him as well. Though I had my reservations about going to Mexico, and I work in a hospital here in the U.S. so I know what health care is "supposed" to look like. But, regardless, I decided to go to Dr. Almanza because he was affordable and after doing research, I felt he was the best choice.
Dr. Almanza and his staff were very professional and wonderfully accomodating to me and my needs. They were sensitive, even though they see many patient's daily and I'm sure it becomes monotonous. While the clinic was smaller than I imagined, I felt it was clean and comfortable.
It's been 3 months and I'm 50 pounds down. Food is no longer the epitome of my day, I have other things that I look forward to. Having the sleeve surgery was the best decision of my life and I would make it over and over and over again. I would also choose Dr. Almanza again and highly recommend him to anyone seeking to have surgery in or outside the U.S.
