I knew this was the procedure that I wanted. There were woman in my town that had gone to Dr. Almanza and decided that was who I was going to use. My insurance here in the states were not going to pay for it. My husband and I had it done at the same time. Our families were very concerned about us going to Mexico to have it done. I was not concerned because of the amount of people I know that have gone before me. The hospital was very clean and the hotel was very nice as well. I would say take your own chicken bullion cubes.
I am down 100 pounds and my husband is down 122. We are able to do so many things now and my husband is off his diabetes meds. He even told me about a month ago that because I convinced him to have this surgery I actually saved his life.
I was 320 pounds going into surgery and he was 380.
We would do it all over again and no regrets.
