Well here goes nothing! Today I am 1 year post op! And what an AMAZING year it has been! I have always been overweight... always! I have tried EVERY diet & pill out there. I developed type 2 diabetes & had high pressure along with other embarrassing issues due to my uncontrolled diabetes. I did not have health insurance & so I decided to pay out of pocket & go to Nuevo Laredo, Mexico to have @drgalileovillarreal perform my #GastricSleeve! And let me tell you it was the best decision & the best experience! Dr. Galileo, his staff, and the hospital were great! My weight before surgery was 227 & today I am 146! 81 pounds gone! I was a size 3XL and now I am a size MEDIUM! I run 5-6 days out of the week, and I LOVE to run! Getting #WeightLossSurgery is NOT easy & it's not magic... the sleeve is just a TOOL! I still have to work hard & make healthy eating decisions! I do all this for my boys & my family! Especially for my son who has Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome.
