If I could go back in time to change anything in my life I would not change my decision to get a gastric sleeve. I weighed, at my heaviest 326 lbs with the pre-op diet I lost 16 lbs. So, when I was weighed the day before my surgery I was 310 lbs. Since the surgery, which was on June 6th , 2018 post-op I have lost 56 lbs so I am currently 254 lbs. I am very happy with my results, and I am still losing! One thing to take note of though is that the first 2-3 weeks you will be losing on average 10 lbs a week. However, that will change once you hit the pur e and soft food stage. I realized that because during the first few weeks after surgery you are only on liquids (basically starving the body) that is why you lose so much in the beginning. Do not let that discourage you though, I will say that everyone's body is different. So, that may not happen to you!
