If anything, it took me 3 years to make my decision, and 1.5 days to travel all the way from Greece. To tell you the truth, if I had not seen my friend Alicia Canduela Ruiz 40 kgs less in almost 4 months, I might still be pondering on my decision.
It was a big decision, but once it was made everything else seemed easy. The big trip to an unknown place, a new clinic, a new Doctor, the post surgery travel, the post-op nutrition, everything became seamless and easy.
I decided to come to Dr. Almanza, not because there are no very good bariatric surgeons in Greece or in Europe, or because of the surgery cost, but because I figured that there is no one with Dr. Almanza's experience in the field and I never regretted it.
Dr. Almanza is very professional, personable, explained everything regarding the surgery and in addition, all his colleagus and the entire clinic personnel are expertly trained and took really good care of me, so much so, that I did not even have to ask for anything, it was as if they were in my mind.
I did not even understand the surgery, one minute I had the anesthesiologist talking to me, and the next he was telling me it was over!
The pain I experienced was nothing compaired to what I was expecting or I had heard, the care I received at the clinic and the facilities of the new clinic was unparalleled.
It is now almost 1.5 months after my gastric sleeve surgery, I have lost 19 kgs and feel great.
I would definately recommend this 100%
I also wanted to make a video to tell you more about my experience in person, but I am still working on the "how to make it". Hope to have it out soon.
