Going to see Dr. Almanza and having gastric sleeve surgery is the greatest decision and gift I have ever given myself. I'm a year out and down 170lbs since surgery. I'm no longer suffering type 2 diabetes and all my recent blood work came back perfect a1c and nutrient levels. Since I don not have insurance and couldn't afford this surgery in America I'm glad I came to dr almanza's clinic, It was the best care I have every recieved at any hospital and cleaner. The staff goes above and beyond. Always remember as a foreigner to Mexico the people operate on a different time table than most are accustomed to. Don't be in a rush and relax. The recovery house was excellent and exactly what is for recouping after surgery and to get you ready for your trip home. The biggest advice I could give to anyone is follow your pre-op diet to the letter( it pays huge dividends in your recovery) and walk as much as you can as soon as you can.
