Afflicted with type 2 diabetes, I tried every diet and diet pill available to me. NOTHING worked for very long. I wanted to be around for my husband and grandchildren, so I decided to have the gastric sleeve surgery.
My weight loss as of today is 44lbs. I am OFF all diabetic medications(metformin pills and Victoza injections), and my blood pressure is now under control.
This has been the greatest gift I could've possibly given to myself! I am getting so many compliments on my looks and my mood is so "happy".
My ONLY regret is that I did not do this much sooner and that is the honest to God truth!
At no time was I ever uncomfortable or in any pain, which surprised me.
