My experience with Jerusalem Hospital and Dr. Almanza was wonderful. He and his staff were very knowledgeable and professionally "present" for me during my procedure and recovery time. My procedure (Gastric Sleeve) only took 45 minutes and 85% of my stomach was removed. There were 6 people in the surgery room with me. Dr. Almanza, the Anesthesiologist, a Cardiologist and 3 surgical nurses. At no point did I feel unsafe or nervous that something bad would happen. The 2nd day after my procedure, I was walking around town shopping for Mexican goodies!

I have recommended this doctor and hospital to several of my friends and will continue to do so to anyone who asks me about the procedure I had done. As of this writing, I have lost 73 lbs. I cannot express enough how happy I am that I made the decision to change my life and put that decision up for fruition in the hands of Dr. Almanza. :)
