Having this surgery was the best decision of my life. I was miserable for the last decade. My weight was affecting so much of my life. The last couple of years my breathing had started to become very labored. Sleeping had even become difficult. I was having such terrible pain in my back and my legs were always swollen. My appearance made me very self conscious. I was ashamed to be seen. I hated for my husband to see me.
Since the first day after my surgery my life has changed. My back never hurts anymore. I used to get spasms in my back everyday. I haven't had one since surgery. My feet and legs no longer get swollen. My stamina is amazing. I walk miles everyday without breaking a sweat. I still have a lot of work to do, but I am so happy in life again.
