I had gastric sleeve 1year ago and I won't lie and say it was all wonderful, the surgery and surgeon as well as facilities and staff were great. I am a RN in the states and many are shocked when I tell them I went to Mexico to have surgery but I honestly could not afford the cost here in Texas! So I took the chance and could not be happier The part that was not so great was the first 3-4 weeks I thought WHAT HAVE I DONE!!! I will NEVER be NORMAL again!!! But I had friends that told me give it time you will feel better after the 4th or 5th week and they were RIGHT!!! I don't eat the same because I get full quickly and I STOP when I am FULL. I had tried every diet known to man and would loose then gain what I lost plus about 20 pounds was up to 287 when I had surgery 1year ago and today I am healthy and happy and 129 pounds lighter!!!! My current weight is 158 and I feel great!!! If you are thinking about getting your life back DO IT!!!!
