On 2012, I was in the process of going for this procedure thru my insurance company, I had started on my 3rd month of supervised diet, when my employer changed insurance carrier and the new plan doesn't cover bariatrics. I retired some funds out of my retierement account and reserved with Dr. Almanza. My surgery was on 02/18/13, so far, i have lost 102 lbs, 65 from surgery. I was a size 24 and now I am a 10-12, medium. I'm very active with exercise and chansing after my grand kids. I'm really appreciative of Dr. Almanza and his team, I will never forget his nurses, an awesome group of young people.

So far, I'm off my blood preassure meds, no more! All my labs and check ups are all normal; however, I'm still considered obese by my BMI, but it beats morbi obese, hell yes!!!
