My husband had Gastric Sleeve surgery 2 years ago by Dr. Almanza and had fantastic results. A friend was so impressed by my husbands results that she sent her 30 yr old son to Dr. Almanza 4 months after my husband had his done and he also had fantastic results. Last week was finally my turn. Two of my friends ( both in the medical profession) are planning on going as soon as possible. Remember this is surgery and a major life change! You will have some pain which is really awful indigestion. The indigestion is easily controlled as soon as you can take the Alkagel (Milk of Magnesia) that they give you to take home!
As for the Hotel Hacienda Del Rio, We are going back just for a visit sometime! The staff was the greatest! My husband and I were treated like Royalty! They brought ice to our room whenever we asked, even at 3am!! My husband asked where the closest store was and they told him it was just around the corner and they told him they would go over there and get what he needed for him and they did! I have never seen such service in my life! If you go don't forget to tip these guys... they are well worth it.
If you ask me if I would do it knowing about the indigestion I would have for a few days post op.... I would tell you in a heart beat!
