People ask why I had the surgery. Why not I say. I tried quick weight loss programs, liquid diets, over the counter drugs. Lost the weight, and gained it back and more, spending how much money. I got tired of being fat. Not just fat but now obese at 230. I had and have no health issues, and did not want them. All I know was I did not want to be sick in hospital bed, obese unable to move having others care for me, and snickering. Thinking "if only you had lost the weight not got so fat"! So I heard of the program from a friend. Watched her results, and her happiness, as I got misiable and fatter. I choose to have the Gastric Sleeve. I told no one except my comrades, work assosiates, as not to be talked out of it. You had what, in where, weren't you sacared.
I had the procedure November 15, 2012 and have never been happier. I weighed 235 now after 3 months I weigh 183, and the weight is still going down. It was the best decision I ever made. I able to do more things, and feel better about myself. It is just simplely amazing. The people at the hospital are more than just incredible, they are fantastic.
