I was 308 lbs in November 2014. I was 25 years old and a single mom. I made the decision that I wanted to lose weight before I ended up 30 with a heart attack or worse. After a long road trip getting to San Diego from Oklahoma City we finally made it to the airport where a van was waiting to pick us up and help us get across the border. We got seen at the hospital and checked in which was a fairly quick process and the van transported us back to our SUPER NICE hotel. We were given an itinerary and everything went smoothly and as planned. The surgery was so fast. The recovery process was in the privacy of your own hotel. After a couple of days we were transported again thru the border and dropped back off at the San Diego airport. The doctor, nurses, translators and everyone was so kind and helpful. I would make this decision a million times over again. It's been the best decision of my young adult life. In one year I have lost 152 lbs. I am healthier and feel so much better about myself. I am now looking into the Mommy Makeover to help with this skin from the rapid weight loss but I have NO regrets.
