I have strugled with an obsession with food for 2 decades. my situation was such that the long term effects of emotional eating had led me to diabetes and high blood pressure. 5 shots of insulin per day. in october of 2013 I buried my mother because complications of diabetes. this was the reason I started to research surgical options.
