After a 20-year battle of the bulge, I decided to have a gastric sleeve procedure. My wife and I flew down to Tijuana together, and WLA picked us up at the airport, drove us to the hospital, and took care of us every step of the way. We were impressed with the staff and the doctors right from the very first minute. There was so much support, and everything went very well, and we even made some new friends while we were there.
I had never believed I was going to lose the weight, but I believe now! I went from 290 lbs down to 195 in 6 months, and have been holding steady right at that weight ever since. I have been able to do so much more than I used to... my feet don't hurt anymore, I can enjoy hiking with my wife, and our marriage has gotten stronger and better, just to name a few of the benefits of having this surgery.
