I am still waiting to see how I feel about the surgery. Sound funny? Well, I think I will be happy with the results. I decided to have the surgery based on health reasons. I had/have aproximatly one hundred pounds to loose. My decision is based on a crappy sore lower back, chronic hip pain and a knee that doesn't stop aching. The thin part is an extra bonus!! The part I think I will struggle with is not eating food I love. I know, that is the point of the Sleeve! Family dinner's just does not have the same appeal. It is nice to be with family but it is great to eat someone else's cooking too! I am still in the clear fluid part of my surgery......10 days clear fluids. I know they say I am not experiencing hunger. I am. I feel hungry. Not starving, but my body is healing and is weak. My brain says I should be feeding it. More than just water, juice, broth, popsicles, and jello. Ohhhhhh and don't forget they should be sugar free.
I am following the plan. Sticking to the clear fluid. I think once my brain has some actual substance I will be perhaps have a different opinion. :)
