My friend and I went and had the sleeved done. We got there on a Thursday and had surgery the same day. The pain after was unbearable, they gave me some more pain meds and then a few hours latter I was up walking around. The nursing staff are great. Doctors are always willing to answer any questions You get your sleep disturbed throughout the night with them coming in and checking blood pressure, doctors doing their round. The facility is new and clean. My friend had no pain no side affects, ME on the other hand had them all...lol They took us shopping at their outside shops, It was nice to get out into the sunshine. The only thing was the last day when we were leaving ALL the nurses moved up stairs with the new patients so we had to keep going up stairs to find a nurse to change you bandages. I feel there should have been at least one nurse on your floor. I lost 6lbs before I left and gained 8lbs while I was gone, I lost 3lbs over night I think its do to the water I retained from all the I.Vs. They said to check my inches It has been two months and Im down 32lbs Im looking forwarded to buying new clothes this summer Thank you to all the staff Sincerely Deborah
