I was a little apprehensive once I got to TJ Bariatrics but all that apprehension faded away once I arrived at the hospital. I've been overweight for my whole adult life, tired of being on the losing end of every diet. Every now and then I'd win but would always, over time, gain the weight back, I was done, it was a no win situation. A friend of mine from TX had the gastric sleeve and raved about the results so thought I'd give it a try, after all, I had nothing but weight to lose!

The surgery takes about 45 minutes and recovery was the rest of the day. I came through with no pain, no gas and was ready to go back to the hotel the following morning. Felt good the whole time and still do. The hotel has a suite for the nurses who are there to answer questions and take care of you. Felt well enough on the next day to go shopping and had a great time and felt great.
