Having this in my mind and reading also all testimonials I decided to get this done. The Weightloss Agents where a big help in answering all my questions and getting me set up with a date of my choice for surgery. I got everything set up and got my meal plan ahead of operation. Also what I need before and after surgery. I was really glad that this was all provided. I flew in and also got picked up like scheduled. A nice driver was there to pick me up and bring me to the modern hospital Grand View. I was amazed of how clean and nice everything was set up. The nurses are all very friendly and helpful and try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. All patients got to meet the Doctors before surgery and Dr. Almanza explained everything being done and also what we could feel after surgery. I felt good and positiv. The day of my surgery I was of course nervous but the nurses took good care of me. Surgery was done and I had my usual difficulties after anesthesia but nothing serious to worry about. I got my meds and a good sleep. After that I walked around like told to get gas and everything out of my body and felt quite well. After two days I even was able to go to the shopping mall. :-) Its important to really follow the instructions the doctor and the nurses tell you and also to follow the rules from the nutritionist. If you do you have no problems what so ever. They know exactly what is necessary for you to do. I just felt very little pain and of course the wounds were little sore but that was completely to expect and normal. Almost 4 weeks later I can say its the best thing I ever did. Wounds healed well and I follow exactly my plan and also listen to my stomach when I feel full. I am hardly hungry but of course watch out to eat my protein and veggies and also take my vitamins. I weighed 237 pounds before surgery and now have lost 29 pounds after surgery. I feel great and I am glad I did this. No regrets. It will take time to get used to all the foods again and to watch the portions, but since this was a major surgery you need to give your body time and yourself to get used to the new tummy and the new you!!! I can really recommend Dr. Almanza. A great surgeon that knows what he is doing and a great facility I can recommend. I would do it again!!!
For all of you out there thinking of doing this... DO IT! Its worth it. :-D
