From the time you get into the van till the time you leave the hospital, everyone is friendly and wants only the best for you. Doctor Almanza is an amazing doctor. Very little english but as he says, great hands. I came out of the anesthesia early I believe and could feel a little bit of pain. Not during surgery though, a time after. The gas pain is horrible. I will say that. But give it a day. After the first day after surgery it will still be there but it will subside. GET UP AND WALK!!! Believe me it helps.

Since then though, from preop till now, almost 3 weeks later, I have lost 34 lbs. KEEP TO THE DIET!!! It helps. Altogether though your stay in Mexico with Doctor Almanza and staff won't be the most enjoyable experience, you know because of the discomfort of the surgery, but they will make sure you are well taken care of and try and make you as comfortable as they can. If you are thinking about doing it, DO IT!!!
