It's been almost 4 months since I had the gastric sleeve surgery done. I've lost a total of 75lbs and am feeling great. On our anniversary in July I was able to use my wedding dress!! I'd been having trouble with my joints and a bunch of food allergies. Now all my joint pain is gone and actually done of the allergies too. Hoping more of that will clear up as I keep loosing weight. But if that doesn't, that's ok too. I'm feeling so good it's been worth it. My weight gain started with my first baby 12 years ago. Had twins next and the weight just added on. People told me then it was "baby fat" and I'd loose it soon enough. I kind of sat back and didn't try to loose the extra pounds. To all young moms out there, please loose that weight as soon as possible! It's not worth it. The surgery went fine and all the people were lovely but I sure would have liked to not have neede to get this far. The sleeve is a wonderful way to start loosing weight. But it's also a lifestyle change
