So overall my surgery and recovery have gone well. Dr. Almanza found a hernia in my stomach I didn't know I had, and removed it. Dr. Almanza's team and nurses were very helpful and caring throughout the process. Only one nurse lacked bedside manners and refused to help me remove my dressing so I can bathe the day I was leaving.
There were times where I felt like the patients that spoke Spanish received more attention and better care than me. I guess it's a comfort thing since English is a hard language.

In conclusion, I am happy I went through the procedure and look forward to a better and healthier life.
