Hello, my name is Tosha. I would love to share my story with others. I have been large for as long as I could remember. My biggest was 274lbs. I did all the normal things large people do. I worked out on my own ate 1200 cal and got to 214lbs then got stuck. Then gained it all back plus some, then did the HCG diet and got down to 184lbs. Then we all know what came next it all came back as soon as I ate real food. So I was really done with the battle. So began be research about weight loss surgery. I had wanted it for a long time however my insurance would not pay for it and with being a single mom to two amazing young ladies I really could not pay for it here in the states. That is when I found Dr. Almanza and his group. I talked it over with a few people and they knew how much I was done with being larger. So I booked my surgery and my plane ticket and off I went. I did go alone and every one called me crazy but it was fine. I had a nice stay at the recovery house. The staff is very nice and helpful. Here I am 9 months out and doing great, work out 4 to 5 times a week and still can only eat very little at any given time. Don’t get me wrong some time I really would love a big burger with all the fixings, however I know that I cannot eat it and even I did I would only be able to eat a few bites. As of today I am 168lbs and want to get to 135lbs. I am in no rush as things have slowed way down for me at this point in the game. All I need to do is keep working out and eating right and it will happen.. Looking back I would do it all over again no regrets.
